Will I have to pay any tax?
Import GST and Duties are payable in addition to any quotation we provide, GST is 12.5% and Duty is based on the country of manufacture. As a guide, for countries which we have no free-trade agreement it is generally 5%.
What details do I need to provide to get a quote?
We need 4 main things:
- Your contact details: name, phone number and/or email address
- Where you plan to ship from and to
- What kind of yacht - year, make and model
- Dimensions so we can provide an accurate quote
I’ve received a quote and want to book, what do I do now?
Get on the phone or send us an email. We only need a few details to get the booking underway:
- Shipper address and contact details
- Receiver address and contact details
- Goods description (i.e. year/make/model)
Once we have these details we can make a booking and you’ll receive a booking confirmation by email.
What do I need to do to my yacht so it’s ready for shipping?
Ensure your yacht is thoroughly clean to avoid excessive cleaning costs on arrival, it doesn’t have to be a professional job but a good steam clean and interior vacuum ensures all signs of dirt/debris have been removed.
Remove all documents and personal effects from inside your yacht, please ensure you keep all original documents with you in person as you will need them on arrival.
