"highly recommend Taurus Logistics to anyone.."
Challenge: This project involved some logistical headaches, shipping a a new combine harvester from Iowa, along with containers in Montana, to arrive at the same time, in Lyttelton.
"All of this equipment arrived in Lyttelton on Time, on Budget and with not so much as a single scratch on them."

Caterpillar D9
Challenge: This second hand D9, purchased at auction by our client, has the appearance of a very tidy machine; however, on close inspection, it is not up to the cleanliness standards to enter New Zealand.
Harvester: Vancouver to Christchurch
Challenge: This was an urgent shipment needed for the summer harvest of berries in Christchurch. With only weeks being the difference between our customer getting return on the machine from harvesting, or being faced with having the machine arrive after the harvest.
User Vermeer Trencher
Challenge: This trencher was received at port from the machinery dealer, and at initial glance appeared to be clean. Until we noticed the dirt which had been painted over! A machine even in this apparent condition needs a lot of washing prior to shipping to New Zealand or Australia. Failure to remove all soil and organic matter can result in the cargo being refused entry into the country.
Concrete-pumping truck
Challenge: This is a typical example of many of the OOG (out of gauge) shipments we are asked to find competitive shipping solutions for. Our customer had purchased ex works in Keelung, meaning we had to provide all logistics to pickup from the seller’s site, secure to a flat rack, and transport to port.
